Mother Rock An atribute to Ana mendietta, and continuing the traditional occupation in body language, earth art and gender issues of identity, with a distinction far away from the one that was made in the sixties. a series of some 60 colored photographs which were created in the "Open studio" - the forest near the studio, along the amazing rocks of the Britania Park.

Mother Rock I

Mother Rock is the most solid layer in the bottom of the earth. The base for all. In some cultures there are mythes of people who were born from stones.

This is an ongoing project, photographs of feminine existence in the rocks of the near by park. 2003-5.

After Anna Mandietta , back in the seventies, there is no longer the need to neccessitate our bodies in the rocks..
