THE ISRAELI FORUM FOR ECOLOGICAL ART (Registered Association )
Goals of the Forum
1. Increasing public awareness of environmental issues such as promoting reclamation and restoration of damaged areas through ecoart.
2. Promoting artwork which sheds light on environmental problems or threats, and on the relationship between people and the environments in which they live.
3. Promoting ecological art and the Forum as a central, influential body anywhere a change of landscape is contemplated;
4. Promoting artwork embodying inter-disciplinary approach between science and art with regard to ecological, environmental issues;
5. Establishing ongoing dialogues between artists, architects, scientists, green organizations, planning committees, decision-makers, communities, in issues pertaining to the quality of the environment, residents, nature.

The members of the Forum are:
- Artists who identify with the above goals and work toward their realization;
- Ecologists, scientists and planners who are willing to promote joined projects;
- Representatives of green organizations and public figures, who identify with the goals of the Forum and are willing to contribute their skills to the realization of the above goals.
The Forum’s Activities
The Forum is an active body, which voices its views regarding environmental issues and acts toward promoting individual and group projects of artists and scientists provided they give expression to self-investigation which leads to the clarifying of, enhance our sensitivity, and draw our attention to any issue pertaining to ecology and the environment. The Forum will work toward the development of a tradition of international conferences on issues of art and ecology, circulate studying material among its members, put together an Internet site which will distribute information in real time, create an archive which will list artists who are involved in the field, their special interests and activities.
The Forum will work toward the inclusion of artists in planning committees and environmental projects at the stage of planning and the increasing of the awareness of planning bodies to the ability of art to influence and present unconventional solutions to environmental problems.
